The Talbot Inn is on the right of this view. Mr Holt the landlord offers his customers locally-brewed Wrexham Ales. The town was a centre for brewing, malting, tanning and mining as well as staging Monday, Thursday and Saturday markets. There was a market-hall, free library, reading room, art school and an infirmary.
