Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Wednesday 18th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Wednesday 18th December will be delivered in the New Year.

I would like to share information with anybody who has, or wants, information about Badger Hall in Thundersley. I have historical information on the family that owned the estate after 1913. I would like to know who owned it before 1913.
In the years leading up to World War 2, I recall visiting my Father's parents who lived in what I remember was a rather splendid house named Willowbrook, on the Rayleigh Road. I would have been about nine in 1938 and I have many pleasant memories of playing in the Orchard and woodland surrounding the house. Does anyone remember the annual parties for Dr. Barnabas' collectors? There was a party at the Weir hotel and the cardboard cottages were collected with little presents for the best collectors. We managed a threepenny piece every week even in those hard days!
