A Memory of Preston Candover.

Does anyone remember the Bruce family who lived at Dickers Farm during the war? ..... Marcus, Connie, Christine and Heather. Marcus Bruce, worked at Moundsmere Manor and Connie was headmistress at the local school.

Yes!! My mother taught in the school when Mrs Bruce was headmistress (Mrs Slater) and we knew the family well When her neice (?) Gay came to stay I would stay over as well Heathers daughters were my bridesmaids when I got married in St MArys
