More about this scene
This view is taken from St Leonard's Place. The De Grey Rooms to the right were built in about 1841. The building was once used by the Yorkshire Hussars as an officers' mess; it is now the York Tourist Information Centre. The bus is heading for Linton, a scenic village in the Yorkshire Dales.
