Runcorn, All Saints Parish Church c.1965

More about this scene
Notice that all the tombstones have disappeared. In fact they have been laid flat on the ground and used for footpaths all around the church. In view of the acidity of the air here from all the industrial pollution it is remarkable to discover that many of the tombstones are still in excellent condition with inscriptions that are very easy to read.
