More about this scene
The Pavilion Theatre and Ballroom was established in 1928, and has remained popular with visitors ever since. There are now several other venues for live entertainment in the town, including the Winter Gardens, home of the world-famous Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. The newer Bournemouth International Centre, with its 3500 capacity auditorium, has now joined the Pier Theatre and the Wessex and Tregonwell Halls to make the city the entertainment capital of the south coast.
