More about this scene
One of the three main rivers which drain the Broads, the Bure is typically slow-flowing; a large number of cruising boats from Collins & Son (in the background) confine their cruising to the River Bure. The four cygnets in their grey plumage are being protected by their parents. On the far bank is an attractive thatched waterside summer-house which also acts as a boathouse.
