I remember Ye Olde Kings Head well. We soldiers gathered in the back room. Victoria was a great cook and her pretty daughter Dorothy, who always had a smile and a cheery greeting, made us all feel welcome. I also remember Charles who waited on table in the front room - a real English gentlemen. Happy memories
