More about this scene
Most of the stone used in the construction of the Minster was carried up this street. The names of streets and alleys are sometimes strange, such as Whipmawhopmagate and Jubbergate. One of the more interesting was Mucky Peg's Lane, which unfortunately was changed to Finkle Street.
