York, A Tudor House c.1955

More about this scene
This house stands on the corner of Coney Street and New Street. The lower part of the house is now a shop that sells mobile telephones, but the upper storey remains virtually unchanged. The sign on the building to the right forefront of the photo advertises Stroud's Agency for Servants; it is now a fashion accessory shop. On the opposite side of the street, what was once a bank is now the Starbucks Coffee Shop.
