More about this scene
This fine church in Wallasey Village is also known locally as the Harrison Memorial Church, because it was built as a memorial by the Harrison children for their parents, James and June Harrison. Messrs Harrison gave Harrison Park to the people of Wallasey as a gift in 1896. The church still stands in Bayswater Road at its junction with Groveland Road.
