First Camp Of Many

A Memory of Tavistock.

Having completed my National Service with the Glosters I was called for camp as part of my further commitment. Unable to go with 5 Glosters I was sent to Plaster Down Camp with HQ 129 Brigade.
Having had an excellent time I decided to sign on to serve Four years with the TA.and I finished up doing twenty one years all together. All down to Plaster Down Camp and HQ 129 brigade .I finished my service as a WOII having transferred to the Royal Engineers. I now live in Devon and would love to find where the camp was actually situated in order to pay a visit once again.
