Taken from a position slightly further east, this tranquil photograph shows Arundel Mill. The building is recorded as passing in 1585 to one Richard Arundel, who died in 1601. In 1837 four power looms were installed in the mill. Soon after this picture was taken, all its main buildings were demolished, though the weir and some ancillary structures survive today.
