Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Wednesday 18th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Wednesday 18th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Please Note: Our offices and factory are now closed until Thursday 2nd January when we will be pleased to deal with any queries that have arisen during the holiday period.

Hi I went to Sidcup sec. mon. school 1961- 1966.My name was Ken Douch a great name, nobody could say it, nobody could spell it. I started in Mr Cocksey class 1b then Mr (peg leg) Jones 2b. As the school was on two sites we then went Bexley Lane. I could not spell at school and still can't so was kept down. I have changed my name and now live in Scarborough Yorkshire. Does anyone remember the Grocery shop that was once on Bedford Road, not far from Longland’s Primary School? It’s now a house and owned by a friend. I’m trying to find out the history of his property and ideally would like to try and find a photo. It was called Gerald’s but later changed in the 60’s sometime. TIA
We moved to the Grove in North Cray from Edgebury Chislehurst in 1965. I went to the Boys side of Alma Rd School in 966 and later to Bexley Lane School. I have mixed emotions of attending Bexley Lane school, (now Cleave Park School) most were ones of dislike, I was bullied terribly and nothing was done about it. I lived in Sidcup asa child up to the age of 11, moving away from the area in 1970. I went to Days Lane Primary School. I don’t remember there being a high street as such but a row of shops I do remember which included a Hairdresser, a newsagent and a small grocer’s as supermarkets used to be called then.
