Seaton Carew, The Bus Station c.1955

More about this scene
Very much an architectural relic of a former age, including its clock tower, the bus station looks very similar today, except that the high-level balcony on the left has gone. Beyond the building to the right is the John Collins Pleasure Beach. The big dipper (right) was dismantled in the 1970s - a big wheel had suffered a similar fate at an earlier date. The Cleveland Hills lie on the horizon.
