More about this scene
At the foot of Boley Hill stands the 15th-century College Gate, one of three surviving entrances to the precincts of the cathedral, whose modest spire (added when the tower was rebuilt in 1904) rises behind. Next door, the Gate House Tea Rooms boasts some lovely 16th-century linenfold panelling.
