More about this scene
Reputedly England's most haunted village, and a market town in the time of Henry III, Prestbury is now a residential suburb of Cheltenham. The record-breaking champion jockey Fred Archer, who was born in Cheltenham in 1857, grew up in the 16th-century half-timbered King's Arms Inn where his father was landlord.
