More about this scene
Although originally known as the Schools, the building has had a variety of uses - a men's social club, an evening institute and a Christian meeting place. It was renamed after it became a Staff Training College. Designed by Douglas and Fordham, it was opened in 1894, and was one of the buildings of which Lever was most proud.
