More about this scene
A big sea is running into the famous cove, as if to emphasise the rugged grandeur of the west coast of the Lizard. The pinnacles, islands and coloured serpentine rocks combine to make this picturesque scene a must on every tourist's itinerary. The long Asparagus Island on the left can only be reached across the beach at low tide.
