King's Lynn, Red Mount Chapel 1898

More about this scene
appears to stand on a sloping earth mound; but this earth covers a platform extending from the chapel base at the level of the entrance doors. In front of this main entrance is a window through which the worshipper can see underneath him the altar of the lower chapel. This is where we can appreciate the beauty and fine proportions of this tiny but perfect church.
