This view has changed considerably, for the old school, pictured in the foreground, is now demolished and replaced with the Edward Parry Day Care Centre. Edward Parry was the founder, in 1870, of a local newspaper appropriately called 'The Kidderminster Shuttle'. He also wrote the inscription on both the Baxter and Hill statues.
