More about this scene
Brick buildings started to appear in the 17th century, when brick replaced stone and timber. The Herbert Arms (left) was originally Pen-y-Bryn Hall, built for Sir Edward Herbert of Montgomery Castle. The Mini on the right is very new, as the Mini Minor and Austin 7 went into production in August 1959.
