Ryse Farm Hatfield Heath

I remember The Ryse farm in the 1960's. I remember a Mrs. Bird who lived by the Round House and the name Charlie Bird. My nan lived at Elm Cottage which was the old laundry for the big house and Old Mrs Garton who lived next door who I would pop in to say hello to, but I was only about 5 or 6 at the time!! My nan lived with Bob Chalis who was a cowman for the big farm till he developed a skin problem so he then had to drive a tractor and do general farm work.
