More about this scene
In the inter-war years Frinton was known for its famous 'summer season' residents, who came for the golf club and the lawn tennis tournament. Gracie Fields once lived in Connaught Avenue in a house called 'Tinkerbell'.This view is little changed today, although the Avenue is no longer almost devoid of traffic.
