Batter Park Off Temple Ave
A Memory of Edmonton.
Hi my name is Terence Stone (Vic) as I was more commonly known and I grew up in a wooden hut in Battery park hut number 2 and have many very fond memories of my childhood but sadly I cant find any trace or photos from there the Woods lived in the hut next to ours and the Godfries we lived in one hut and had to go out and round to the other hut to go to bed our toilet was in a anderson shelter behind the bedroom hut I went to the old Becontree Heath school opposite Nanny goat common then on to Triptons for a short time we lived there from 1946 to 1953 when we moved to 74 Crescent road
