Eastbourne, The Bandstand 1947
Photo ref:

More about this scene
The columned structure of the enclosure and the bandstand itself are faced in buff faience, while the flattened dome over the bandstand is in a startling turquoise blue surmounted by a golden spike. There is much ornamenta- tion, and although the elaborate lamps have now gone, it is still an exotic and striking building.
