Dorridge, Dorridge Road c.1960

More about this scene
As we leave the station, the first street we see is Dorridge Road. Broad and leafy, it retains a handful of older houses like the mock-Tudor one we can just see on the left in this photograph. The older houses are surrounded by mature trees, but later infilling has led to modern houses and bungalows with hedges of the dreaded leylandii.
