More about this scene
Improved transport opened much of North Wales to the leisured classes, who were able to visit its grand and picturesque scenery, even in wilder and more remote locations. The hotel pictured here offered comfortable accommodation, and this intrepid fisherman is obviously hoping for a prize fish to take his lure.
