Happy Memories Of Bramley Grange Hotel
A Memory of Bramley.
My uncle, Tom Gordon, was the owner of the hotel from the 1950s to his death in 1966. I visited several times over those years, the first time in about 1953. For me it was a magical place with magnificent grounds to explore and many places of interest round about. My Grandmother lived there for a few years too. The food was always marvellous, one speciality being crepes suzette! When I was 16, I had a meal with my uncle and he encouraged me to have my first taste of alcohol - a Babycham! I am 78 now, but I will always remember my holidays at Bramley Grange Hotel.
