Here we see the sturdy porticoed front of Botley's famous Market Hall, built in 1848. The turret and clock above were erected by local parishioners to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897. Opposite is the premises of W H Lewry, the High Street butcher, which remained in the family until 1999.
