More about this scene
Standing at the head of the Eastern Valley, in an industrially ravaged landscape, Blaenavon was declared a World Heritage Site in 2000. Amid the trees on the slopes of Coity mountain is the Varteg Cemetery (right). The Rifleman's Arms is the large white building centre right. White House cottage to its right, at the end of Bunker's Row, has now been demolished.
