Norman Henry Mews

A Memory of Acomb.

Norman was my father and I know he was born in Acomb Northumberland at Middle Farm February 1910. I am trying to trace his roots and would be grateful if anyone has any information.

Hello, sorry we have just come across this. My mam was your dad's cousin. She is called Olga Lennon (nee Mynott) and her mam was Ada Mews, the sister of your dad's mam Gladys. Mam would be more than happy to talk to you, she was aware of his existence and that he attended his mams funeral. If you want to contact me so I can put you in touch with mam, my email address is margaretlennon@talktalk.net.

Hi, Im trying to find out some information on my grandmothers family..they worked on Holly Hall farm in the late 1920s. Their family name was Gibbison. I’m trying to find out who was the tenant farmer of Holly hall farm at that time and would be very grateful if you have any information on this or could point me in the right direction to find that out. Kind regards Laura
