This view of the interior after its reconstruction in 1880 shows the delicate wrought iron work. All those involved with building in this area then would also be building the mills, so it is therefore not surprising that there are resemblances between them. The view also illustrates the relative importance of preaching over the sacrament in those days: note the extra height of the pulpit, which also enabled the preacher to see and be seen by those in the galleries.
