Worcester, Broad Street And Crown Hotel c.1950

More about this scene
When the new Worcester Bridge opened in 1781 it gave Broad Street quite a boost, helping it to support three coaching inns. The Unicorn Inn and the Bell Hotel were demolished long ago but the splendid Crown Hotel is still trading, though its former yard has been converted into a shopping arcade, Crown Passage.
