Very Early
A Memory of Witney.
Very early in life, I can remember going to the welfare clinic in Witney. Remember, I was only a little one. I seem to remember seeing an airship pass over as my Mother left me outside Mrs. Slaney's shop which was near the top of Corn Street. I was also slightly in disgrace as I had poured some black lead over my head earlier that day. Of course, prams were higher in those days, and even earlier in life, I was traumatized by
events in those early days.
