A Memory of Welling.

We moved to Welling in 1957 and lived in Lynmere Road. Went to Fosters & Westwood schools. Remember playing over the Fanny on the Hill and going to the Welling Granada for Saturaday morning pictures. Had a great childhood living in Welling back then.

I spent many happy hours roaming around Fanny on the Hill and use to drink in the white horse I think then it was Colin and Mrs who ran it then the Green man at the bottom of Fanny great times.
I also think Kate bush father Dr Bush had his practice on the edge of Fanny
