More about this scene
Overlooking the main road through the village is the church of the Holy Trinity. It was built in the 1880s to replace an earlier church dedicated to St Mary. Beyond the primary school is the Tarleton Hotel, which has stood in the village since the 17th century and now goes by the name of the Cock and Bottle.
