More about this scene
The Romford County High School for Girls was opened in Heath Park Road in 1910. During the First World War the Army occupied the school's extensive grounds. In 1935, as the number of pupils rose, a new school was built in Brentwood Road set amid delightful gardens and playing fields. Both sites remain as schools to the present day.
