St Mary's Church, rising steeply over the slate roofs of Penzance, was built in 1834. Its pinnacled tower looks down over the old fishing quarter. This narrow lane winds down to the docks and harbour. On the left is the Dolphin Inn and, on the corner, the Harbour Office.
