More about this scene
In the Fifties, for those who had cars, it was easy to drive into London, especially on a Sunday, and park in Exhibition Road. The buildings on the immediate left are now the Natural History Museum, with the Science Museum next door. The Victoria & Albert Museum, which was about to be greatly enlarged, is on the right.
