Not Quite A Memory More Of A Request

A Memory of Holt Fleet.

In 1997 we purchased a wooden bungalow near Holt Fleet Lock. We would like to hear any memories anyone may have about residents along the river. There are 9 wooden bungalows in all, we are at the third one. Today we had an unexpected visitor from a lady who owned it years ago and we let her go without really getting any info, HELP!!!

My grandparents had a bungalow here; not on the river bank but further up the slope, above what is now the caravan field. I remember going there as a small child in the 1950s.My grandparents, uncles and aunts spent many an evening in the Holt Fleet Hotel; their main home area was Bloxwich / Walsall.
