More about this scene
The library is to be found in Boltro Road, which leads off Muster Green towards the railway station. It is built on land owned by the Urban District Council and on land adjacent to the main offices of the council at Oaklands, the former home of Sir James Bradford. The library building has recently undergone a substantial extension, built in the same style as the building shown in the photograph. It is a much used and valued facility for everyone.
