With room to spare, this looks as though it was an ideal place to learn the basics of driving before tempting the fates on the open road. Then again, with the sea being so far away, these vehicles might well be the forerunners of the beach buggy.

Yes! every Sunday for years during the summer holidays this is where you would find me, my mam, dad, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, aunties, uncles, cousins, nanny and grandad.
