More about this scene
What the Army did for Aldershot, the London and South Western Railway Company did for Eastleigh, helping to transform a forgotten rural backwater into a bustling and thriving town. The image of the railway town remains, though many changes have taken place here in recent years. But Eastleigh is not just about railways. Many other forms of industry are based here, including Pirelli Cables and the Mr Kipling bakery.
