More about this scene
Formerly known as the Griffin, the Bold Arms takes its name and heraldic device from one of the two families that owned most of North Meols for many centuries. Stables to the rear of the pub were used for the horses drawing the first trams in the area. The site of the tram sheds is also to the rear of the building.
