More about this scene
Built in 1870, this was one of the many West Yorkshire institutes to offer working craftsmen the opportunity to study new skills and learn more about the world. A very well-stocked library would have been illuminating to many of the new workers pouring into the vibrant city. The elongated Venetian window added a continental look to the street. The building is now demolished.
