Christmas Deliveries: If you placed an order on or before midday on Wednesday 18th December for Christmas delivery it was despatched before the Royal Mail or Parcel Force deadline and therefore should be received in time for Christmas. Orders placed after midday on Wednesday 18th December will be delivered in the New Year.

Remember this being built (original buildings 1604) - chased Mark Wallington across the freshly laid concrete (he was a cheeky beggar) and as we ‘splodged’ through the wet concrete, with the workmen shouting after us, l yelled “Keep going ..!!”. He went on to captain Leicester City whilst l (in the RAF) was merely ‘scouted’ at the same time Peter Shilton was there ..! PS. My mother (Nora/Lynn) was District Nurse and Midwife from circa 1962/63 to 79/80.
Two of my Grandmothers brothers are listed on this memorial. They were killed within 25 days of one another in July 1916 Frederick William Lill killed in France and Arthur Lill, killed in Belgium
I am trying to recall a memory of a school religious play I appeared in as the lead part, Annas. Ray Pearson played the part of my son Caiphas. The play was filmed on Cine-camera & produced by Harry Ison the school Scripture teacher.
Hi there, Anyone out there who went to the Sec Mod from 1964 to 1970. I was in 1A1, etc all the way through the GCE classes. I was also Head Boy in 1969-70 (not much choice I know). Does anyone also remember the Christmas plays - my last role was Bill Sykes in Oliver and had a great time in other pantomimes in previous years.
