More about this scene
This is not exactly a holiday home, but the fresh environment and a view to the sea were deemed beneficial for the patients. This was financed by John Passmore Edwards, who also gave an endowment fund entrusted to the governors of the Royal Cornwall Infirmary in Truro. After becoming an old people's home, the building has been converted into flats. Perran Coombe is to the right.
