The 1955 photos reflect a time well remembered by myself and many of the following will be recalled by old 'locals'. N90085. Home to Arthur Schlater and Norwegian wife. Although I have never seen Newick, I am attracted to the village for two reasons: firstly the photographs look appealing, and secondly I have family roots there. I believe that the village church in Newick is where Edward Creasey married Mary Mackarell in 1668. Thats makes them my great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandparents!
