Mary Tavy, Village 1908

More about this scene
Tin and copper were once mined hereabouts and Mary Tavy was at the heart of it. Today, it is a sleepy little village off the frantically busy main road, and seldom visited by outsiders who simply do not know it is there. This view is virtually unchanged almost a century on.
